Kiwi berry cuttings?
« on: April 15, 2017, 08:46:11 PM »
I've got a huge 5 year old Kiwi-berry vine but will have to move in the next couple of months and wanted to take some cuttings with me. I've tried unsuccessfully in the past by cutting them off at a leaf node, dipping in rooting gel and putting in a mini greenhouse but got 0/5 to take. Just wondered if anyone had tips or a good cutting method I should try?

Thanks :)

sorry, no experience - but might you need both male and female plants?

This one's self pollinating so should be ok, I'll probably have to try a bigger batch of cuttings and hopefully will get a strike eventually. Thanks for the quick reply!
