Misting system
« on: September 10, 2017, 09:58:08 AM »
I would like to put in a misting system over my cuttings and seeds to stop them drying out. Does anyone have one set up. What are you using.

Hi GA,  sorry, not much experience with mist, which is great for cuttings by all accounts. An easy alternative to keep up moisture is bottom wicking, but perhaps not a replacement for misting. Good luck,

Hi, we have over 20 years experience with a "leaf" system. Originally bought by FIL from Sage Horticultural, its over 30 years old now and still going strong.
Great for cuttings and seed punnets, though light level in the propagator is too low to leave seedlings in there after germination.
