missed water
« on: November 26, 2017, 07:42:12 PM »
forgot to pump the catching tank (which is full) into the upper storage tank (which is almost empty), so all this glorious rain is going down the storm water drains :( can't put the electric pump out in the rain...

That's terrible.
We had nearly 20mm the other day, and it reminded me I still have one downpipe to connect to a rainwater tank.

Did you get any of the rain up your way T?

We've caught 55mm in the rain gauge so far here in Frankston South. Bucketed down yesterday. Not much overnight or today so far

I've got 20mm in the gauge. put a few inches in the tank. Could have done with a heap more, but the grain growers and cherry growers will be pleased they didn't get more.
